The Seafoam & Surf Gingham Pouch is the perfect summer accessory. My daughter chose the vibrant shades for this custom checkered beach bag.

I spent a couple of wonderful beach days working on this piece while soaking up the sunshine in Surf City, North Carolina. To ensure the pouch stays structurally sound and completely stretch-free, I crocheted it directly over a premade canvas pouch liner. Utilizing a built-in lining is such a fantastic time-saver because it completely hides the interior yarn strands floating across the back of the fabric, letting me skip working over the unused colors. I finished it off with a matching handmade crocheted wristlet strap, and a round dragonfly "choose joy" tag stitched right to the front.
