Pickleball Pouch
↓ Jump to Patterns & MaterialsThis zippered pouch started as a vision for a birthday gift for my sister who is crazy about pickleball. I found the iron on patch at Michael's and the colors were perfect. I had some stash yarn to use that complimented the colors perfectly but the color transition didn't happen quite as quickly as I had hoped it would so I would cut the yarn, and pull the yarn until it got to the next color. I ended up with several balls of this yarn but I have ended up using it for different projects over the years. I think the key is don't let long color transitions discourage you from having a vision come to life. When crocheting, you creativity should lead the way.
Keep in mind that you cannot iron on to acrylic yarn as it will melt the yarn and ruin your project. The alternative is to use a strong bond fabric glue to attach it.
