Glamming up the Florence Bag: Black & Gold Edition

Can you believe this bag is made with only 4, fast floral squares and some simple stitches? I loved making my first version of this easy Florence Bag so much that I immediately started a second one, his time giving it the full little black bag treatment! 🖤 For this version, I carried a fine gold thread along with the black yarn on the final round of the squares. It gave them a subtle hint of shimmer, though the sparkle was a bit hit-or-miss, so I might rethink that technique next time. To elevate the finish, I added gold D-rings to clip on a short, black, shoulder strap, then topped off the magnetic closure with a brushed gold button.
